Animal Husbandry

Our animal husbandry operations encompass the responsible care and management of livestock including poultry, cattle, sheep, and goats. We prioritize animal welfare, providing spacious and clean living conditions, balanced nutrition, and access to veterinary care. Through rotational grazing and pasture management, we promote soil health and biodiversity while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our grazing lands. Our livestock products include meat, dairy, and eggs, all produced with a focus on quality, safety, and ethical practices. Notes:

• Livestock breed selection.

We are intent on supplying the market with dairy products, predominantly milk, and therefore we are focused on raising breeds that produce large quantities of milk such as the Holstein breed

• Feeding programs and nutrition.

We ensure free access to clean water for all livestock, and a balanced diet that provides the necessary protein, carbohydrates through their forage and vitamin through supplements. In our feed selection, we consider nutrient availability, fiber content and palatability Our sustainable feed choices minimize environmental impact by consider local resources, waste management, and ecological balance when formulating rations.

By setting up an isolation area for sick animals away from the rest of the herd, we seek to prevent the spread of diseases, before a veterinarian or an animal health specialist checks and treats them.

 Housing

We provide animal housing that protects them from the elements (extremes of temperature, snow, wind, rain, and mud, and ensures good air flow to prevent respiratory issues.

There’s special consideration to avoid overcrowding and provide enough space for movement. We have a quarantine area for new or returning animals to prevent disease spread.
